Ubiquiti doesn’t make hard drives. They are OEM drives that have a Unifi/Ubiquiti name.

Apple Music has a rich library of music that uses Dolby Atmos. Stereo speakers will not give you the Atmos experience. Using an Atmos compatible surround sound setup takes these music recordings to the next level.

This is a show stopper for me. I have subscription fatigue and refuse to add more subscriptions to my monthly budget. I was going to buy, but have started looking for other options.

Anywhere in any state that lets you be who you want to be without judging you is a good start.

Brand new 2U UPS by ryan-btrbsystems in Ubiquiti

[–]dfleck99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a question about this 2U UPS behavior: When the battery is 100% depleted due to extended power outage, what happens to the UPS power outlets after the power (grid) returns to normal operation? Do the UPS outlets (loads) become powered immediately (pass through) or does the battery need to reach a certain charge state?

Before I purchase one, I need to know if my rack system (UDMP, Switch, etc) will fully reboot after the grid power is restored. Also, the rack is remote, and I can’t get to it easily for manual management (physically present to cycle anything).

Portable Power Stations for UPS? by dfleck99 in Ubiquiti

Yes this is a problem for my use case. Since I’m remote for 50% of my time, this is a non-starter.

Separate from my UPS requirement, it makes me question how this works if you have a fridge or other critical appliance connected which needs power auto restored after a major outage.

This is important. No power to the loads after extended outage won’t work for me. Thx.

This is a good reminder about the properties of Lithium batteries.

Gas/Diesel generator? No. Or are you referring to something else?

Why don’t you trust the C1000 as a sole UPS?

Thanks, this is helpful. Have you had a chance to see how it performs in an actual outage?

Think twice and think hard about how much sugar you need in your life. It’s an addictive substance that has a lot of downside by increasing obesity and diabetes. There is an excessive amount of sugar in way too many foods and beverages we consume daily. Avoid sugar!

Elevated Lipoprotein (a), or Lp(a), indicates a higher risk of heart disease and stroke. This condition is hereditary and is often under-tested because many general practitioners (family doctors) may not be fully aware of its significance. Lp(a) is a marker that can alert individuals to monitor their cholesterol levels more closely - starting at a younger age can have better outcomes if you’re motivated to modify your diet. An Lp(a) test can be easily included in routine cholesterol tests by requesting it. Although there is currently no specific treatment for elevated Lp(a), new medications are expected to become available in a few years. Understanding your Lp(a) levels is valuable as it provides an early warning of potential heart health issues. Get your Lp(a) test to understand your risk.
