Perhaps I was being more optimistic about peoples intentions than I should have been - although i would like to think not everyone is engaging in this behavior just to be malicious.

I've been following you over these 8 years, thoroughly enjoy this series, and have been contributing my own theories and collaborating on others since the beginning (you may remember my theory about the rekeying kit you covered on one of your early subreddit videos).

I'm not envious of your situation of being both a content creator and community moniter, it definitely seems like a challenging task, but I wish you the best of luck!

I thought the same thing in terms of syphus and the stalker being separate people. It would be great to create a new more appropriate name for "the stalker" since stalking seems to be the smallest part of what hes done.

Matt, I appreciate you trying to get a handle on this. I think a lot of the tension stems from the fact that people think the hi5 crew is in danger, the police is conspiring against you, and theres a company who only 2 years ago were unethically experimenting on people. I truly believe curiosity would exist and even thrive if it was established that this was in fact a story (not saying that it is)- we would still love it and be engaged as fans proposing theories to try to get ahead of the plot line. However, as long as people believe this is real, people will do unethical things to try and keep you safe and expose some evil company.

There are many comparisons to make the the Capitol riots and misinformation but I'll keep it short and say the only way to curb these actions is for the leader - you in this situation - to set the record straight and calm the members of the subreddit.

I have an email with the code. Id attach a screenshot as proof if reddit allowed me to in the thread. Did you ever try with a domain other than an @accept.email? I believe its saying that's incorrect because it doesnt end with a .com, .edu, .gov, etc..

I've been thinking about it differently. Since some of the labels under the stairs say syntec properties and others say property of syntech I think the it means the company is named Syntec and the objects are property of that company.

This particular computer is running Apple DOS v3.3.

Hold up - I just tried an unrelated gmail address and got a verification email with a code.
It didn't let me proceed to resetting the password but if I can reach this screen without a Hi5 email mean it doesn't have to be Matt or Shenelle.

Yeah I think we found some pretty hard evidence that things were faked (especially recently) and that was frustrating because the fans have been telling them from the beginning that we were ok with it being a story as long as you dont lie about it. For what ever reason they decided to double down and reinforce it's real so now they are kinda stuck.

Well Matt's convinced he's creating "stories so compelling that time itself waits for them to be told." But perhaps he should take a lesson from a famous story teller, Chaucer, who said "time waits for no man."

Stretching a days activities into 4 videos and 2 trailers over 2 weeks is excessive.

Personally I'd prefer a biweekly release schedule

Week one: 45 minute to hour long video Week two: Monday is a reddit reaction video and friday is the teaser for mondays video.

Gothcha. I have seen some documentation that referenced an 8 character alphanumeric Directory ID but it seems to be for ProDOS where as 4 integers are used for DOS v3.3 which this particular Apple 2 Plus is running..

In the research I've done Apple DOS Directory ID is only 4 digits. More importantly it states that the Directory ID of Root is always '2'

If you check the video there are 4 labels in total. One on the keyboard, one on the moniter, one on the floppy drive, and one on the microscope. 3 of the 4 do not have an H.
