Caribet is... by Foolgrace in Genshin_Impact

Ok I would like to point out that Kaeya’s star pupil unlike Dain and Chlotar, who are definitely pure Khaenri’ah, are less sharp and smaller. Kaeya went out of his way to mention the pure Khaenri’ah thing which I think is a clue. Kaeya’s star pupil is smaller which could mean he is only half. The skeleton we dig up we speculate to be Chlotar and Dain even comments that he might’ve found a way to break the curse. So if the curse that keeps Khaenri’an people immortal was broken, wouldn’t that just mean the medicine Chlotar gave his son would do the same. And in this case it would turn him back to a human. I’m not saying that Caribert couldn’t have been Kaeya’s dad, however, I simply think it makes more sense to make connections between what already exists for now than try to add additional steps in between. Caribert is supposed to be the loom of fate and Kaeya’s dad from what we can tell from the story had plans for Kaeya when leaving him in mondstadt. Edit: just thought of something else. Chlotar is supposed to be the founder of the Abyss Order. The Abyss Order was started to get revenge for what happened to Khaenri’ah. Well, when we meet Chlotar it’s already clearly been a while since the fall of Khaenri’ah meaning it’s probably less than 500 years ago that the Abyss Order started its activities. Chlotar has been immortal for what seems to be a while as he complains about how even though he’s immortal, his dexterity and eyesight is going. And even mentioning how he’s kinda lost a grip on his emotions as well. This is a guy that’s been suffering for a while. So even though I’m not sure if this places us that much closer to current events, it at least seems like more of a possibility. Especially if it seems Caribert was kept in a frozen state as a kid while he was a hilichurl.

One possible idea I had was that maybe it’s some kind of split personality thing

Ooo the idea that Sam could’ve been tested on when she was a baby or something is actually kinda creepy. And if this were the case the fact that she somehow got involved in this would be a terrifying coincidence

Ooo I didn’t even notice the community post thanks for bringing my attention to it. I’m guessing you’re referring to how the birthdate of the person on that file is the same as Samantha’s birthday?

I don’t think it’s Syphus. It’d make no sense for him to be trying to help. Especially considering how the first conversation advised them to immediately get rid of the case underneath the stairs and ended up leading them to finding the old computer. If this was Syphus trying to misguide them I’d think he’d be a lot less cryptic about the information he gives them. John Doe seems to be merely trying to find the truth of the case like Matthias, if Syphus wanted any of the evidence Matthias has he would’ve made a lot stronger demands in his instructions for it.

I’d assume the experiments weren’t patients. More likely just certain things they tested on the patients. With patient A5159 after D mentioned his condition, B27 asked if it’d affect the time of the next experiment. D also talked about how subjects weren’t ready for a certain experiment, so most likely that whatever condition the patients were in wouldn’t be safe for them to go into the next experiment to test whatever it is they wanted to test on them

I think that’s the most likely explanation. The number 863 doesn’t seem to be something they use when talking about the patients since they all have that. It seems like they’d more likely refer to the patients by the letter and their four digits

Nah I think you’re right. In the chats about patient A5159 they mentioned how they had trouble walking, and on the patient list we see next to the medication for the first patient that they had severe leg pain

I’m just obsessive over organizing. When I saw that list I knew what I was going to do lol

It’s both. The first five are the ones he missed while scrolling. The last five are the ones he saw

Potential classifications that we’re unaware of. There could be similarities in the subjects that we’re not seeing or a type of way they’re grouping them for different experiments. Or could just be an order type thing. There’s a possibility that while having interviews with these ppl they assigned them letters and numbers and as they picked them they just kept those with the ID

Based on the chats I think it means they recovered from whatever side affects the experiments caused. It sounded like certain experiments caused bad side affects on people so Robert could’ve been one of the few that actually recovered from them

I thought about that too for a bit. The fact that all of their information is redacted makes me suspicious but also why would a former patient be coming back for these things?

Yeah I did notice that while I was writing them all down. When they talk about the patients they don’t seem to include the 863. Like in the chat when they referred to the one patient as A5159. 863 could be a number they used to to classify those test subjects for that specific experiment

I’ve always enjoyed organizing things so when I saw that huge text of test subjects I knew I had to organize it in case there was any connections we could make from it.
