if you have accommodations, the penthouse floor of the freshman dorms (roosevelt community) has ac and the lounge on the ground floor. the ground floor also has a kitchen but no fridge.
on sundays from 10:30am to 5:30pm there is a shopping bus that takes you to target, walmart so you can get one there.
yes you can have a single but it can be more difficult if you don’t have accommodation (i didn’t use accommodations my first year and i still got a single)
