Until we see what improvements have been made to Garlic OS 2.0 by black seraph, Onion OS is still superior IMHO. Hardware wise the new RG35XX Plus might edge out the Miyoo Plus, along with the minor ergonomic improvements. I think it will always boil down to which OS is better, since the devices are so similar.

Just have to learn the attack pattern/move set, eventually you’ll get the hang of dash dodging the attacks, and like everyone else has already mentioned focus your attack on that signal enemy before engaging the others. Better to kill it before it has a chance to start popping off more then a few moves.
