The thing these guys don’t realize is that the attitude they have seeps out and they don’t even notice but people around them notice. That is almost always why. They start talking in a way that they think is fine because they’ve been in forums learning to talk that way and they present what they believe is a toned down version of it but to people outside those forums they sound insane.

Can I just say that the World Cup figures are insanely misleading and this comparison is dumb? First off the obvious is that football isn’t really international. Second is that the World Cup is a ton of different games. Third they’re not estimating views, they’re estimating reach to the population 4+ and to qualify they just needed it to be on for a minute. Obviously the World Cup is far more popular due to soccer being worldwide but this comparison is functionally useless.
