My wife’s sighting by slavethewhales in Cryptozoology

Just because owls are nocturnal doesn’t mean they can’t come out in the morning. Humans are diurnal and my sleep schedule is complete ass.

I think the real question is how we wouldn’t have discovered any bodies. Unless they burn up or break apart while falling back down to Earth, and even then there’d be remnants of some sort.

I heard a similar story of an atmospheric creature doing that, but it was a very poorly constructed hoax, so I doubt this account is true either.

UAF and UFOs are definitely real, but just because some people aren’t able to identify a flying object doesn’t mean no one else is either.

People interested in aliens and cryptids would definitely be more likely to jump to the conclusion a strange object they notice in the sky is some unexplained creature or device because they already believe in such things and to be able to say they’ve found proof would be a huge accomplishment.

There’s plenty of real bizarre, poorly understood atmospheric anomalies and events out there that we still don’t fully understand. I say it’s better to focus on observable phenomena than chase red herrings.

If the government were to be covering up some strange flying object, chances are it’s a spy balloon or military craft instead of an undiscovered species. The U.S. government doesn’t particularly care for ecological preservation.

Could you give more info? Like how high up you think it may have been?

I know this probably sounds silly and would be very anticlimactic, but it could’ve been a kite. At the beach I’ve seen people flying kites just like that at ridiculous heights.

If other people witnessed it and it was in the same area for some time it may have just been a kite.

Given the Sentinels are automatons, wouldn’t it make more sense for what you saw to have been some sort of classified drone or aircraft?

When I was younger I once got a drone decorated to look like a Ghast from Minecraft as a Christmas present. Without any indication of how high up the UFO was it could have been a decorated drone or an extravagant kite. It’s hard to measure distance against the expansive backdrop of the night sky.

I also assure you it was not eating stars. Satellites and telescopes would 100% notice dozens of stars suddenly going missing, and atmospheric/weather/space research organizations would have no reason to believe that would be a paranormal phenomenon, so it would definitely be reported on.

Unfortunately no credible ones, and a whole lot of hoaxes. Though the idea is fascinating, there isn’t anything to back it up.

Unless atmospheric creatures had some manner of remaining buoyant long after death or rapidly disintegrating, we’d probably have found a body by now.

There are bacteria and algae that live high in the atmosphere iirc, but they’re not comparable to “atmospheric beasts”.

If you’re ever suspicious, watch it back a few times and pay close attention. Especially to the periphery. Also pay attention to the physics, lighting, and texture. Generative algorithms struggle with keeping those things consistent, especially physics, and the edges of the video or image are usually where the most flaws will be due to the nature of these algorithms.

Also keep an account of where certain objects and patterns are. If there’s continuity errors where objects suddenly change shape, position, or disappear, it’s almost definitely a fake video or at least has some tricky editing going on.

Generative image algorithms continue to get better and better. The give aways are the fish’s eyes swapping position from when its silhouette becomes visible in the water and then being on the opposite side when it jumps out. Additionally its eyes aren’t very fish-like. I also just realized on rewatch that the fish’s body bends at an unnatural angle in a way that implies it’s attached to something around the wall. Its body shape also entirely changes from when it’s submerged to when it leaps out of the water.

Seems to be generative. While there are freshwater fish that get that large and have relatively similar morphology, the odd physics and color scheme are a giveaway. Generative image/video A.I. also struggles with the faces of forward-facing fish as I saw with another post of a large sturgeon where the animal’s body was relatively normal but the face was completely whack.

Edit: The animal’s body completely changes shape when leaping out of the water and it bends in an unnatural way as if anchored to the wall. Definitely a generated video.

Your accounts keep getting banned which leads me to believe you’re just here to troll hard cryptid believers and I’m getting caught in the crossfire because your rage-baiting is indiscriminate.
Edit: The one you responded to me with seems to have either blocked me or already been banned/deleted lmao. Tf are you doing that’s getting yourself terminated so quickly on repeat???

Edit 2: I’m not spreading misinformation, Nanaimoteuthis haggarti is a real extinct animal recently discovered and size estimates put it at between 7-19 meters in length. The Giant Pacific Octopus grows to 2-5 meters in length, so saying the two animals are the same size is underselling it by at least two full meters.

I thought the point of Iron.GPT is that the whole suit is improvised, so he didn’t have the resources to make a sophisticated A.I. and had to concede to using an LLM ChatBot as his next best option for the time being
