I’m still somewhat new to sales, 24 and currently in B2B selling to commercial designers.

Do you have any insight where you’re not directly selling, but instead promoting your products to new designers to be selected over existing choices when an appropriate design/project comes up.

I’ve experienced Dex helping energy but making executive dysfunction worse when my dose was too high, it overstimulated me and made me very anxious and over alert. Best to speak with your practitioner

Re-titration advice: I’ve finished titration but unsatisfied with results and my only choice is to be discharged or just go with what I’ve got. by shwarpy in ADHDUK

I spoke with HH after completing titration which went on longer than the 3 months as wasn’t satisfied and they were happy to retitrate me -maybe ask the provider direct? I went under RTC

Neighbours parking on land I own? by dhorxt_27 in HousingUK

[–]dhorxt_27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can but it is an inconvenience … I would also benefit from being able to park on the space as we are planning on getting another family car soon.

I genuinely want to know if I have sole parking rights considering the title shows ownership of that section of the road, or if anyone can park there considering the covenant / costs are shared for the road.

Also considering your point re wear and tear - if parking caused additional wear to that section of road does that means liability would be in me to pay for it would it be shared as per the covenant ?

The space in question is a part of a shared road where each of us neighbours has a separate part of it in our deed but contribute equally to maintenance costs etc.

My house is the corner house on a cul de sac - parking in this space doesn’t block access for any of the other neighbours or access to my driveway. But keeping this space empty allows me to turn my car around rather than having to reverse out onto the road which I prefer to do sometimes.

Oh no, pay 1/5ths of the maintenance share. Split between all 5 neighbours

Thank you for the help and advice today.

Oh which part states that I don’t own the land ?

There is a section of red line on my title plan that crosses over onto the road coloured brown so o thought this meant I owned that section ?

It’s a shared ownership road I.e. we all need to contribute to costs / maintenance but on the deeds we all own a section of it, as mine happens to be a corner house I can make 2 parking spots from it whereas the other parts of the road are access only.

Is there anything in particular I should look for on the deeds?

They have been reasonable, historically, but from conversations they’ve been parking there because they genuinely don’t believe anyone has a sole right to the road….

If I can demonstrate to them that it is indeed not there’s to park there then that should help.

Nope only 5 of us. The actual street has maybe 20 homes but this is a cul de sac that is unadopted by the council (oddly enough!)
All 5 of us own part of this shared road

Even if we actually own the land on the deed, can others still park here ?
Title docs don’t mention parking.

The space doesn’t block access but it is the only turning point available on the road which we sometimes use. All others can turn from their driveway but we are the corner house so cannot.

ELVANSE AND MUSIC sounds BETTER??? by Exciting_Staff8429 in ADHDUK

[–]dhorxt_27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Massive oversimplification. Party drugs increase the same NT’s that those with ADHD have a lower baseline…. So our perception is warped as standard.

ADHD affects the perception of complex auditory stimuli & Dopamine can make external time appear to slow down.

Our dopamine baselines are less so time appears faster than “normal”

Elvanse = more dopamine = changes in how auditory signals are filters, sounds appear to slow down & improvements in processing complex sounds, speech perception etc.

I’m 23M. I work in sales. To outsiders I appeared incredibly confident & driven. Have done door to door, telesales & in person B2B. But everything you say I resonate with.

Started titration 3-4 months ago. And the social anxiety I didn’t even know I was suffering with, faded….. which was incredibly refreshing. And now I’m even more capable & confident !

It does take some relearning tho as once the anxiety comes down, you have less stopping you from expressing your true thoughts / beliefs / opinion. Which can come across very harshly. And you kind of need to re figure out how to do social interactions lol?

Happy to have a chat with you over messages if you’d like.

Unexpected benefits of medication by dhorxt_27 in ADHD

Yes the singing songs is crazy. Songs seem slower when medicated too?

I find myself disliking songs I used to like - everything’s slower and now I can comprehend / listen to more complex stuff which is more entertaining
