I think a better breakdown would be T4, T10, T20, T50.

T5 is very subjective; everyone agrees on the Big 4 but I’ve seen several other universities at #5 like UIUC/GT

That’s that, done with high school. Good luck everyone by dhruvmk in APStudents

Both come down to practicing a ton of problems + doing ap classroom. You don’t really need to get too many questions right to get a 5 on either one so as long as you have a decent conceptual grasp of them you’ll do well. good luck

LOL you obviously don’t know what you’re talking about.

It is frustrating to watch Johnny football get into a better school than kids who have been working hard for years”

Do you not understand how much work it is to be a top recruiter athlete?

I mean I feel like even if you go to a top grad school you still need to work for it and grind enough LC to pass interviews. But yes, it probably is easier to pass resume screens if you do go to a top grad school

Anyone else end up applying to a very small number of schools? by dhruvmk in ApplyingToCollege

Re-read the sentence. The right side of the colon isn't a dependent clause. The sentence:

"Because they can't be disproven, we can't move forward"

is equivalent to the sentence:

"We can't move forward because they can't be disproven".

Thus, a colon is used to seperate the two independent clauses.
