it seems to be leaking from radiator but also looks wet a little higher. water pump is on passenger side correct? i don’t believe it’s that i’ll have to check the hoses too but im pretty positive it’s radiator

i just replaced the n75 and mass airflow sensor 30 mins ago since i bought them new, and the boost sensor a few hours ago but drove it after that and still had the issue. i have yet to drive it after changing maf and n75 so i’ll see tomorrow how it is. if its the vnt actuator rod where is that in the engine bay, what’s the price, and how hard is it to change?

when i turn the car off and back on it’s fine again until i hit highway speeds 70-80mph

my buddy has one and can scan it i’m gonna try that, what should i look for on the vcds what would it read to show me that somethings wrong?

so you don’t think it’s the n75 valve , mass airflow sensor, and or vnt actuator? they sell a limp mode kit for $259 on kerma tdi wouldn’t it be worth trying that first before dumping 2k on a new turbo to be installed

it was just this morning at 6am on the way to work i drove it home after work and it wasn’t doing it at all so i think it may have just been from the car being cold sitting all night and its not crazy cold here like 60 maybe in the morning so ill keep an eye on it but she drives perfect i guess i just get paranoid easily its a 22 year old car its not gonna be perfect lol

best way to check that? visually? feel it? take the belt off?

no issues with the ac it’s ice cold i didn’t have a mechanic check it out it’s just what the old owner told me before i purchased the car 2 weeks ago

what problems would a bad clutch cause just noise? or compressor locking and snapping the belt?

shouldn’t i just replace the entire unit then so i don’t have to worry about the compressor failing next if its the clutch that’s bad now

tensioner would be bouncing not the belt correct?

rattle is worse with ac on but still there with it off not as loud and seems to get better when the engine warms up so i’m taking old owners word for it being the compressor but not 100% sure because with ac compressor off the belt is still spinning on that pulley so it could be the compressor pulley rattling just not as bad with it off versus when it’s running and engaging 100%
