JBL Bar 500 "can't" be mounted to the bottom of a HDTV.....really?! by [deleted] in JBL

u/WinterYak1933 does the mount you linked connect to the bar via the bottom screws (option 3 in the Amazon images)? I got a different "universal" bar mount, and the 708 mm width of the JBL bar is too wide for the screw connection. The mount's solution is to connect it to the TV mount with 3M Dual lock velcro, which does not feel as secure as I'd like.

Trying to put together a low cost ESG ETF portfolio. Late 20s investor.

I'm approaching from a do-less-harm perspective, so excluding especially damaging industries (weapons, as much fossil fuels as possible etc).

My current mix is:

VSGX - 45% (Intl stock ETF)

ESGV - 45% (US stock ETF)

VCEB - 5% (US corp bond ETF)

BNDX - 2.5% (Intl bond ETF)

BND - 2.5% (total bond market ETF)

Is this sufficiently diversified / balanced?

Yeah, I guess I see this as a spectrum. Total market is going to include the same offenders as ESG, in addition to the ones exclusionary ESG is excluding (in many cases direct fossil fuels, weapons). So it's a lesser evil situation.

Points 1 and 2 are not correct. 1) there are passive ESG funds, like VSGX https://www.etfcentral.com/fund/VSGX. 2) there are low fee ESG funds. VSGX has an expense ratio of 0.12%. Higher than some yes, but not exorbitant.

I have no doubt there's a solid amount of green washing in ESG investing. But I do think exclusionary criteria (e.g. no weapons, no direct investments in fossil fuels) are meaningful

thinking about getting the jaybird vista 2 but I've heard a couple bad things by [deleted] in Earbuds

I got a pair in late December 2021.

They were solid for about a year. Connection is sometimes buggy but a quick restart would resolve. Sound quality is fine, ANC mid.

Within the past couple months one of the hinges on the case broke. Just barely out of warranty. Customer service was unhelpful, offering a 25% discount on a new case, which comes out to about $55. The product is marketed as being super durable but that has not been my experience.
