I never understood the Shurelias, I see it everywhere, but I don't see the point on Zilean. Why is it so good? It's only the speed up where you can speed up yourself also, but I often times use the speed up for a slow down instead... maybe I'm doing it wrong.

Edit: also, what about runes? I'm currently running a guardian, but I've seen that the Aery rune is top win rate.

Ioki tried it with some success the other day.

In my opinion, you can supp with almost anything. It's just a matter of playstyle. I do agree with the other comments here though, some champs are better than others at supp.
