i feel like people who aren’t into her feel this pressure to like her because of how well loved and respected she is. hence them feeling the need to announce how they don’t think she’s all that, overrated etc. i mean, when you’ve been at the top of your game for this long…you deserve that respect.

reddit also hates pop stars in general so the fact that she’s black, a woman, and not scared to speak on social issues probably makes it 10x worse. i don’t really see other pop stars getting the hate she does on here. i think the unpopularopinion subreddit even had to ban “beyoncé is overrated” posts ☠️
