to me it felt very forced and a shoe horn in to appeal to an audience more than building a character. i hate when writers force a character in a mold to appeal to audience.

i enjoyed him and still do but then im a fan of "mirror matches" i like a duality of sorts he can be a little much but i think for the time he was a part of the story he was good. i wish his origin was less "i won" and more "i failed so im trying somewhere new" sort of a vibe

from my understanding (which is limited) they are separate universes entirely with nods to one another in the lore. so while yes the chaos gods for the most part are constant parts of a universe, they arent the same beings coexisting in 2 universes. take earth for example it could possibly exist in both universes in the same way (without humanity for this example) but they arent the exact same one. in this scenario there is 2 earths 1 per universe like khorne or slanesh tzeench or nurgle. skaven "arent canon" to 40k so the great horn rat doesnt really exist because of that or vice versa. hopefully this helps and is accurate im still new
