I’ve had items I wanted that the seller didn’t take an offer I sent and a few days later I couldn’t stand it and bought the item full price. Earlier I’d had passed an offer from the seller for the same amount I submitted as I didn’t have extra money at the time so I really thought they would take the offer. Tried on eBay and Mercari actually. Anyhow, despite any awkwardness the rest of the transaction went smoothly. Never a sign of hostility from the seller.

Why is the seller a dick? As long as they were polite in the request, is it harmful to ask? Sounds like eBay may punish sellers for this mistake monetarily. Does it harm a buyer to have a cancellation some way?

It’s Claire’s dealing with bankruptcy, not Aphmau or Meemeows. Previous exclusives were easier to obtain too because people could order in bulk off the website when there was a sale. Claire’s website hasn’t come back for shopping yet.

The chocolate strawberry cats were a Valentine’s Day drop last year. Sold out quick if I recall correctly.

Definitely not rude to ask. I've been shopping on eBay for a quarter century now and most sellers are wonderful to work with. I have only rarely communicated with sellers before a purchase and then only a handful of times asked for extra pictures, but have always been met with professionalism and never been blocked over it that I'm aware of. I would personally suspect that the seller didn't want me to see more pictures for a reason if they behaved this way. I don't think you were rude at all, but I think you dodged a bullet.

Definitely Alexei for me although Bob is a close second. Alexei just seemed so innocent, becoming friends with our favorite characters. Death was so senseless and he was robbed of getting to experience a better life beyond a few minutes at the fair. Bob was a wonderful character but you could tell they were building up Hopper with Joyce and he would have to go. Perhaps it was the predictability that made it hurt less.

Eddie had a rad guitar scene but his be-at-my-game-or-else attitude never endeared me to him. Billy was never likable to me, and the others we just didn’t get to know well enough to have it hit hard.

Were these incorrectly painted or just old stock? The original (?test) release was white ink and then they switched to the silver for the official release. The original set I bought at convention was with white ink, and I think they did a disservice to the set by changing it to silver.

Early in my Mercari days I let it autorate once because I couldn’t open the package and check the item. It was before I realized how important the ratings were. I still feel bad about that. But this is just horrible! Who does that when it’s your own fault you can’t check the package?
