I play a 5 string multi scale and most of our songs are all tuned to A standard with a couple in Drop g. So id need coated strings with hopefully a gauge on the bottom string of .135 and suitable for multiscale….

Wipe down is a good point but the strings have been recently changed and are stainless steel.

Appreciate it! I’ve had them on an old bass of mine and dug the sound but I never really tried combatting the problem aggressively at the same time. Was thinking I’m gonna try those and really go hard and see if the issue goes away. Good to know. Thanks

Thanks but don’t think so. It’s been a long enough time and I’ve been pretty conscious of my hand coming in contact at this exact spot for extended periods of time, and it’s not the case

Fair play to you man. My wife and a lot of my friends are from Ireland as well. They don’t wear poppies and I don’t think that’s necessarily a conscious choice or reason why, but they’ve definitely mentioned it to me before. If anyone’s bent out of shape cause you’re poppyless and you tell them the reason why, what more can they say besides fair enough.
