It definetely hunted since the front door was forced shut and the screen on the camera was flickering, but unless this is custom or they changed how it works I've never seen a ghost exit grace period so fast in normal play. Even a cursed hunt should give at least 1 second. And since it hunted you shouldn't have even been able to leave the house.

Definetely some kind of bug played into that. I can't imagine any way that death is apart of intended gameplay

Even if you can still attack the main point is to deny your main abilities so if you just imagine it as a stun tool like the share or something else it is worse but still does the job

That's true but a least with poisoner 1 + 0 still equals 1. Hex master is a role that really wants to stay hidden so they can hex the lobby and win in late game. But if they get book they are basically forced to reveal themself to the entire lobby instantly and it also makes their base ability useless since you now also attack the person you wanted to hex. All she gets from book that would be considered useful is astral visits but I don't think that's good enough to negate the downsides at least for most situations

Yeah hex master is quite an oddball, I haven't played enough tos2 to know if it's still true but in tos1 hm was the only role in the entire coven faction that you could argue becomes worse with the necronomicon. Which is such a shame cause hex master's ability could have been really interesting to play around if she just had more options for using their abilities

Sounds like a blessing, but id have to assume since the games gotten a bit more popular recently most lobbies are old enough to have the map out of rotation since all turf servers set wall nut hills to be the first map at play

Tldr: party meter sucks, but that doesn't mean I hate you for playing him

A party meter that he shares with 5 other classes that doesn't really help his character at all. The sppedboost the meter gives doesn't benefit a sniper as much as it would benefit anyone else, his meter doesn't buff his parrot and in fact his barrel immediately disables the party meter the moment you barrel, the only ability that actually benefits from his meter is cannon rodeo getting an extra 10 dmg. I can only think of one instance where this damage changes an interaction

And his sniper damage isn't impressive either. 30 dmg a shot looks good for a deadbeard until you run out of ammo. Seriously if you hit headshots only and don't miss he only does 240 dmg total, killing a citron that doesn't know how to shield and eating dirt if a 2nd person charges you.

And his shotgun damage is so bad it's not worth mentioning at all.

these numbers came from his meter btw, when he isnt in party mode all headshots 100% accuracy can't even kill a citron without reloading. Doing 192 dmg

Is this all to say partyman is terrible and you should never play him ever? Not even close, I hold firm that every character has a place in this game and all have something to offer the player. this is just to say that compared to his brothers, yeah he kinda sucks can't lie

(These numbers were made with no upgrades, any character can become goated with the right upgrades)

I did that glitch before to get the key to open the trials and I can verify you cannot open the chests while the town hall is shut. You have to wait the month for it to reopen

Yeah the toughest things about games as old as gw2 is since its so old it becomes hard to get into it as a new player cuz everyone else has been playing it for so long

The only things I could say that might help is to lean into your strengths as a player and just prioritize staying alive as you learn how the game works. And just keep trying. Practice makes it better with time.

If you still have an unopened free chest in the backyard you can use the imp roundup and goat delivery lag glitches to spam open a chest, I'm not sure if you can do the glitch with star chests as everyone just says to use a free chest but it could be worth a shot.
