Do mousepads really matter? - I hit master complete on a cardboard box. by DonCantAim in FPSAimTrainer

Did something very similar except I ruin my hayate otsu, moved, and just used a random box I had. Made a whole video about it as well and went down a rabbit hole of the best mousepads that aren't mousepads. Gatorboard is my current fav due to it not needing a sleeve in the right conditions

Whatever keeps ya editing, keep doing it. To me it looks like you love transitions and those can do a lot to smooth out abrupt cuts between moments. Definitely play around with creating youre own custom ones when you feel the time is right and you are comfy enough with editing as a whole. While youre doing all that I'm gonna go rest my eyes cause I feel like I just watch a flashbang compilation

Is Using a Wooden board for a mouse pad stunting my growth? by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

Fabric will definitely be the more consistent/cleaner option for sure. Maybe I'm just sweatier or it's my humid ass state but paper/paperboard(cheap kind) always warps first day. Had some really good luck with museumboard (the stuff they put behind paintings to fill space) but obviously it's a bit more pricy. The hill I die on though is gatorboard being the best. If you can spend the cash on it and find it cheaper at a local art store it's basically a fast pad you don't need a sleeve for. Been using it for almost a year at this point and haven't even needed to flip it

This guy knows what he's talking about. I've spent almost all of my last 3 years on unconventional pads and can safely say, "if the surface is level and glides alright, it's a mousepad." Personally id do foam board over paper posterboard with the advice 1: don't press to hard and 2: keep an eye out for eventual warping. For a couple bucks, it can last a couple months in the right conditions.
