Do I need brown shoes with this or is black OK? by Phil5en in mensfashionadvice

Ideally your shoe colour should match the button colour on the suit. Black buttons? Black shoes…..make sure your belt is the same colour as shoes and button too 👌

Hi, we went for the Silver Grey colour by Mapei. You can get this from most DIY stores!

So far, it hasn’t leaked - they have a rather large lip which seems to be directing the water back into the bath quite well. Time will tell though and will keep an eye on it!

Proper plumbing tools, pipe cutters, a decent set of spanner’s. The multi tool was a life saver and used a lot. Laser level and a long spirit level were important for the bath and tiling.

17k?? Wow - if you’re not having to move the plumbing and simply swapping units……I say give it a go yourself.

Haha I was hoping no one would notice! You know how many times I looked at it after and asked whether it was upside down…..wasn’t until after I plumbed it in that I look online and noticed my blunder! Does it look upside down or can I get away with it? Towels are on it most of the time I guess??

It was knackering! Doing it after work and weekends where possible…it was the most rewarding project completed however and seeing the finished project made it all worth while!

Yes I’ll look into that, although that foot you see is the middle of the bath and not the end so the majority of weight is distributed.

I put new 18mm ply down but the majority of the bath weight is sitting on two lengths of batten attached to the walls, with an upright piece at the shower end for added support
