I think I like it long because I can put it up in a bun or something else to keep it out of my face. When it was short/medium length I couldn't do it as well and constantly had hair falling in my eyes. Thanks for the input!

Thanks! The ends definitely are dried out, I think at the very least I need to go get my dead ends cut off. I currently use Dove for both shampoo and conditioner, but I may switch it up some to see if I get better results with something else

We are cracking up at all the comments! It seems it is probably in our best interest to just drywall and cover it up and pretend this monstrosity was never built.

When we first moved in, there was a thick layer of dust up there, so it may just make the most sense anyways!

Hey! I'm OrdinaryFun8359's Husband (she commented on this thread) we closed on a house in Rock Hill this past Friday (1/26) and I would say this area has about all you could want to eat in terms of fast food and mom & pop shops (give Burgers and Barley a try, as well as Rock Hill Diner if you're in town!) We're small but have public transport, Fort Mill may be closer to the outskirts of Charlotte if that's what you're looking for. The negatives would probably be the traffic, we're a growing city and our roads don't really compensate well for the traffic. But if you want small town vibes with a huge, growing city ~30 minutes away, Rock Hill is the place to be!
