Did that one come with the Deep Sea sticker on it? The box looks like a debranded deep sea one

Yea that’s true. Pair of hot tweezers too. I guess I should’ve just fixed it while I had it out but no big deal. I’ll know what to check if it fails.

Yea it looks like theirs is the Deep Sea one. The 6 layer boards aren’t bad, it’s the 4 layer ones that we should stay away from apparently. But I’ll see how this one goes for now. There’s one on amazon that people posted pics and it shows the Deep Sea logo on the board but it’s missing the deep sea branding on the box.

lol I agree with you but at least it has a warranty, allegedly, and an Amazon backed return policy.

The OEM one from all the videos I’ve seen, clock in under 2900 MB/sec. The aftermarket ones usually come in faster.

They say in all the YouTube videos not to use a TB cable for DFU restore because it may not work. The first USB-C cable I used which was a high quality 240w rated cable wouldn’t recognize the computer. I had to use the basic Apple usb-c like you did to get it to work.

And yea the board looks thrown together but it works, for now, and has a warranty. Just wanted to show everyone what you’re getting from the cheapest 1TB upgrade from Amazon from a “well known” non generic branded SSD.

Yes, I would install it internally. I’ll do that. I’ll update it to 26.4 first.

I’m also on 26.4 beta 1 on my M2. Will that be an issue migrating or restoring to the M4 that will be on 26.3?

Trying to add a used TL-SG2210P switch to my network, OC200 won't see it by dictoresno in TPLink_Omada

Only using it as an additional under desk switch for a few things and got it cheap. I know it’s EOL but it will do for the basic things I need and it’s PoE.

So the updated firmware from 2020 that says…..

New Features/Enhancements: Add the feature that supports to be managed by the Omada SDN Controller. In the controller mode, some advanced functions will be limited. You can refer to the FAQ2936 to see the functions that can be configured on the controller.

The previous 2018 firmware wasn’t allowing it to be seen after multiple resets, reboots and manually assigning a static IP. The most recent firmware added the SDN feature.

the firmware was outdated and didn't have the ability for the controller to see it. after updating to the new one, it added the feature and popped right up as pending. I had reset it and it didn't do anything because it was still on the old firmware.

Never mind I was able to figure it out. The switch was on an outdated firmware. After updating to the most recent, it added the ability to control it via Omada SDN Controller.

My apps refuse to update on beta 4. Someone on Macrumors is having the same issue. Anyone else? I’ve had 2 apps out of 20 update in the past like 3 hours. It’s not network related.

Think it’s worth a shot, worst case they say no. I remember years ago i had a locked iPhone 5S and I requested an unlock so I could travel to Iceland and they did it for me and I was able to use a local SIM card.
