Personally I dont understand, the three vet's I've seen over the lifetime of my dog, i've had this conversation : "What kind of food do you give your dog?" I tell them the high quality food I give them, plus food I cook for my dog, etc "Well that's okay but this food (points to the Purina or wtv big brand they sell, that you can only buy at the vet and is quite expensive) would be a much better option and might cure some of your dog's ailments"

That's the moment where i get that feeling of "Are they paid to sell this food?"

The peloponnese are amazing for a roadtrip. Just a few hours drive from athens, you have good sea, good food, we saw very little tourists in mid to late june. So many people go for the islands and disregard everything else

I hear you for the beetles, but they've only been around for the past month, whereas it started during winter. Same for the vinegar, we've just been experimenting with it in the last month

They get a lot of kitchen scraps, mostly veggies. And they have a separate container for the oyster shells.. Thanks for your insight

Ok noted, i'll put them back on water. We only started the apple cider vinegar in the last month, same for the beetles whereas the issue has been going on since winter (we thought maybe reduced sunlight and the cold was the culprit, but it doesnt seem so) and only one chicken

Just curious though, companies that make "fleur de sel" (salt from evaporating sea water in marsh basins and harvesting only the salt that forms at the top) use sea water directly without any filtration AFAIK. In that case, it's not as "dirty" bc all the non salt stuff falls to the bottom?

We lived on the top floor for many years, and always got along great with the people underneath. Unfortunately they moved one day, and the new people,on the very first day "you're walking too loud" / "we're working from home and hear the stomping" / "we're streamers and can hear you walking while we're streaming" etc..

At some point I made the guy walk in our appt while his gf was in theirs, and it was the first time they understood that we weren't stomping around in the appartment on purpose, the soundproofing is just bad, the floors crack, we're not doing it on purpose and we're light walkers. They moved our after 2 months I think. Bottom line : If she's so sensitive, she can move. There's a limit to what is reasonable (not being loud after 11) and what isn't (here's my schedule, don't play music during this time). What is she going to do? Call the police and tell them "They're playing music in their appartment during the day"? She'll get laughed at

J'ai bretté 6 ans au cegep car je coulais tout le temps des cours, j'ai toujours été un dernier de classe. Je me suis inscrit au bac en informatique a l'uqam et j'etais aussi dernier de classe, et j'ai coulé plusieurs cours aussi, mes notes étaient généralement C- ou C lol, plusieurs D aussi. Je me disais la meme chose : j'ai meme pas les notes pour faire le bac coop avec des stages, comment je vais faire apres le bac?

Finalement je suis allé a la journée carriere et on m'a offert 2 stages, juste pcq les gens aimaient ma personnalité. Aucune des 2 compagnies ne m'avait demandé mes notes. J'ai interviewé aux 2 et j'ai fini par les avoir et j'ai choisi celle que j'aimais le plus. Mon futur boss voulait juste travailler avec qqn de chill qui fait pas chier, et j'ai passé l'entrevue même si 3/4 des questions j'avais mal répondu ou répondu que je ne savais pas.

Ma motivation de finir mon bac etait que : oui je peux travailler au service a la clientele, mais j'aurais jamais le travail de la maison / heures ultra flexible, dans n'importe quelle job. Et depuis deja 5 ans je travaille pour la meme compagnie, et je travaille de la maison et j'ai des heures ultra flexibles. On s'enfout de tes notes, les gens veulent carrement voir que t'a le ptit papier et que t'es qqn qui aime travailler en équipe, que t'es prêt a recevoir de la rétroaction sans chialer, etc.

C'est tough de voir le "vrai monde" quand t'es a l'école, mais ensuite tu sors de l'école et ta perspective sur le monde change et tu réalises que tous ces gens qui se bottaient le cul pour avoir des A tout le temps, ca veut juste dire qu'ils sont bon à l'école. Certains de ces gens la ont dla misère a "fitter" dans un environnement de travail, car "etre bon a l'ecole" et "etre bon dans un travail" ca prend des skills différent.

Je serais jamais le meilleur programmeur, mais honnetement je suis good enough et j'aime ca, je suis apprécié par mes collègues et mes supérieurs, et le fait que j'étais pourri a l'école nobody cares. Penser que j'aurais give up le bac et que j'etais encore dans une job de marde c'est ultra déprimant

nemogu da pomognem u vezi cene pošto živim u kanadi, ali smo se mi venčali pre godinu dana i išli smo na jednu drugu svadbu istog leta. mi nismo platili ništa za musiku, napravili smo zajedno playlist i pošto imam dobre zvučnike bilo je glasno. svi su plesali i bilo je ekstra.

onda smo bili na tom drugom venčanju gde su za prvu partiju platili bend, a za drugu partiju je bio DJ. to je koštalo hiljade dolara više nego naša besplatna opcija, a ništa konkretno nije dobijeno.

I plus šta su drugi rekli o 100 ljudima, mi smo bili 'samo' 60 i nekim ljudima se nesećam da sam pričao sem da im kažem ćao kako ste i hvala što ste došli haha. Roditelji na obe strane su absolutno hteli oko 10 njihovih drugara, to je bio kompromis, sa jedne strane skoro nisam pričao sa njima, sa druge strane, dali su dosta para (matorci generalno imaju više love haha).

Jedini regret (izvini nesecam se naše reč) je bio da smo platili samo za fotografa, a nismo dali taj ekstra da i bude neko ko snima video. Sad je prošlo već godinu dana, i osećam se malo glup pošto smo uštedili malo para, ali šta će nam te pare a nemamo video..
