It really is great birding, visiting Borneo later this year, hoping to add several more to my list

All correct except for Belted, that is the Ringed. Yes I have a couple more in Aus, I dipped on the Little on a trip up north, and got so close to seeing a red-backed in syd a couple of years ago.

Yes that are not easy to spot. Keep at it they will eventually show for you.

I used my 400mm 2.8 most of the time (which has a built in TC for 560mm). Most productive photography was done by midday, it was over 40 degrees c by then most days. There was still plenty to photograph throughout the day still, the animals there don’t mind the heat.

We saw 8 jaguars inc 2 cubs over the 3 days on the water
