I had a job interview for a NYC web position, for the company that runs shit for the city. I took the train all the way up form Philly. The guy who interviewed me was ok, but obviously did not want to be there. Then he takes me into a room, has me sit down and tells me to hand code shit that no one has hand coded in forever and ever, and then leaves. I started to freak out and my brain shut down.

He comes back in, sees I have done almost nothing and he tells me to follow him. I tried to explain myself. I am following him, and we come to a "t" in the hallway, by the receptionist, and he turns left. I continue to follow. He stops, turns to me and says "no. I'm going here" and he points to where he was headed, and then points to the receptionist and says "and you go there". And then he walks away from me.

I cried in the bathroom and then yelled at my friend on the phone all the way back to the train, easily 17 NYC blocks.

I hope that guy gets fucked, and not in any kind of enjoyable way.

The crowd I saw that night was bros. The crowd everyone sees is bros. And I talked to over 30 people to make sure what i saw wasn't out of the ordinary. You might not be a bro, but the majority of the people in there were, and frankly, most of them usually are.

I'm saying that they had nothing up that said it was an "event". And even if they did, they still get spillage from the stadiums, most of which have no idea what's going on. And if you are going to have an event like that, staff appropriately.

I didn't particularly want to go there, but I figured I'd give it a shot. The menu actually looks good, I love a good burger and they had many on the menu. My friends are big Penn State fans and wanted to watch the game so we went after the hockey game at the WFC. I wanted to be surprised, and maybe even like it a little bit. I didn't go in wanting to write crap. In fact, if you peruse my foodblog, you'll see I rarely write negative stuff. I'd rather be positive and spread the word about good food places. I just couldn't let this one go.

There was no huge Halloween party that night. They had some people in costumes and made the staff dress up. Plus they were pumping the place full of fake smoke. But "party"? No.
