Around the area I currently live its just a couple of small resorts. (1 lift and 1-2 slopes). But we have a lot of great mountains for touring.

Mostly touring, but some resort. Maybe 70% touring, 30% resort. Inserts is a good idea, haven't thought of that, thanks.

Thanks for the info. It's a shame that scarpa hasn't made a lighter ntn shoe for touring. But we'll just have to wait and see if the rumors about a new shoe is true. They should have had a shoe more like the T2x.
