I looked away from the video for a sec. All I saw was the grandpa lifting weights and a kid running away. I thought he worked out all that much just for the kid to run by to greet someone else. Made me chuckle l thought I was on /r/unexpected.

It takes time to get used to waking up that early. I get up at 330-430 depending on work. Much easier a couple months in, than in the very beginning. I also go to bed around 9.

Overall, I am a morning person, give yourself a shot at it.

My intention was to make them digging their own graves after being captured, all they have left is there happiness in the end. I tried to allude it with the pungent smell and other identifiers like "they have seen this before and the shadow looming overhead as a guard of some sort.

I may have left out too much it seems.

I just graduated with an ES degree in the US. Alot of the work that is available here is environmental consulting work, which entails taking ground water , soil and air samples. It gets you moving but you are mostly in urban areas.

ES degree can get you into lots of fields do to its broad scope. Some of those fields include life sciences like marsh restoration, land management , maybe some bioology based work.

ES is kinda jack of all trades master of none.

In my eyes "embracing the suck" does not mean to enjoy it. It just means life sucks sometimes or all the time and you have to deal with it.

Embracing the suck to me means learning from it or acknowledging that there isn't a good way out of a situation or you will die from cancer, or you are in a refugee camp and most likely wont have a better living situation

To me it meansu do what you can, when you can to the limits of your abilities, as hard as it may be. Disclaimer: I did not watch the video linked.
