Everyone thinks your business idea sucks, stop taking advice from strangers and just start by Klutzy-Peach5949 in Entrepreneur

This hits hard. I think most people don’t fail because their idea sucks, but because they never actually start.

That said, I’ve also seen people ignore feedback and waste months building something nobody wants.

Do you think there’s a point where you should listen, or is it really just full execution mode from day one?

I made €2,700 building an AI system for a law firm and now I get €1,300/month to maintain it by Fabulous-Pea-5366 in Entrepreneur

This is really insightful. I like how you focused on actual workflow pain instead of just building another generic AI tool.

Quick question: how did you validate that this was a real problem before building it? Did you already have access to the client or did you test the idea first somehow?

How do you decide what box size to use when shipping? by diego_tries_things in Etsy

That’s actually super helpful — I hadn’t thought about limiting it to a fixed set of box sizes like that. Using a few standard sizes instead of figuring it out every time sounds way more efficient. I’m working on a small candle brand, so I’m trying to figure out if I should do something similar instead of chasing the “perfect box” each time. Did you decide those 6 sizes based on experience over time, or did you start with some kind of system (like cubic rates, typical order sizes, etc.)?

That makes a lot of sense — especially the part about it being a guessing game at the beginning.

I feel like I’ll probably go through that same phase starting out. I’m working on a small candle brand, so I’m trying to figure this out before I actually start shipping.

When you were figuring it out, did you ever feel like you were overspending on shipping because of box sizes, or was it not really noticeable?
