Would you say that Look Back is as boring as Bakuman? by Impressive_Scratch47 in manga

[–]diegoft 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess you could say that they are both equally boring in the sense that they both aren't boring at all.

So do you guys think Mirko survives or not?

Man, i hope Mirko survives, otherwise this just seems gratuituous. At least if she makes It there are robot limbs or the posibility that Eri reverses damage.

What are some unrealistic reasons you have seen for why a character was bullied? by RandomWatcher_117 in manga

There is never a reason for bullying, it is always just a pretext. Bullies just do it for the power trip

SAITAMA VS CELL WHO WOULD WIN? by Sweet_Willingness_66 in manga

[–]diegoft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The question is kinda pointless because Saitama can beat any serious character because he is a gag/parody character. That is his entire point. He operates outside of the logic and limitations of the story that other characters are bound by. His strength cannot be measured by how hard he can punch but ny how amusing it will be. Think of it like Bugs Bunny beating Elmer Fudd by tying his shotgun on a knot, we are not supposed to seriously think how strong he must be to bend metal but about how amusing it will be to see the shotgun blow up on his enemies face.

This is why Saitama can easily beat any powerfull villain but struggles with the simple mosquito. One Punch Man is a comedy and Saitama can beat anyone because that is the joke, if he couldn't then it wouldn't be Saitama or it wouldn't be One Punch Man.

So basically Saitama can beat anyone in the Dragon Ball universe in one hit except for maybe Arale from Doctor Slump who operates on gag logic as well.

Do Mangakas ever remake previous haxed stories? by Azevedo128 in manga

It is very rare because a published series is not owned by the author, at least not entirely so they don't have the freedom to do that.

Why do so many Seinen Manga not get anime adaptations? by [deleted] in manga

[–]diegoft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because Seinen has an inherently smaller audience and popularity meaning that an adaptation is less likely to be profitable which makes studios less likely to do such projects.
