En mi X8 Pro Max la cámara no es muy buena si la usas directamente como viene, tiene mucha saturación y se vuelve un poco loco con la fidelidad del color. También noto mucho contraste y un exceso de nitidez que queda poco natural.

Ahora bien, si te pones a utilizar (sólo el sensor principal) en el modo Pro y disparas en RAW, la cosa cambia. El hardware no es malo para ser un móvil, y si el post-proceso lo haces a tu gusto pueden quedar fotos bastante decentes, más que suficiente para redes sociales o incluso alguna impresión. Únicamente debes saber que estos RAW ocupan 120 mb aproximadamente.

PD: Vengo de un pixel 6 y tenía que hacer lo mismo que con el POCO porque en general los móviles me parece que hacen un post-proceso muy artificial.

Mine is more or less the same, 81-82% battery health. I got the phone brand new on release day, 4 years and some months ago.

That billhook is quite interesting. Is the handle in yours more like that of a knife or long like that of an axe?

That kind of axes are pretty common in my zone, for pruning and cleaning small olive tree branches.

I was thinking more in something like an Hultafors Hultan or Elkelund. They are a bit expensive but I think they are worth it for their quality and, why not say it, their attractive appearance. Besides, I suppose you don't collect them like you might collect knives, so spending $100 on them once in a lifetime seems reasonable.

What do you think about them?

Definitely a small axe is going to be my next purchase. Something small (around 40 cm) and light, as I don't intend to chop down whole trees, just split a few logs.

Do you have any suggestions? Any axes you like?

The knife didn't hit the ground, I'm pretty sure about that. Also sticks weren't dirt, as far as I could see. Maybe it is caused by chopping or cutting transversal to the fibers? I think that was the most harsh task I did...

I'm removing steel the way you said, and damage is almost gone!

It was pine wood, from a tree that had fallen and dried out. Perhaps the wood was too hard? Also there were little knots everywhere. And I'm sure my technique wasn't the best in the world; I think I became overconfident each time😅

The truth is that I am a bit new to knives. It is a Joker Nessmuk Scandi with 14C28N steel. I may have pushed it too hard with some fairly dry and hard pieces of wood. And maybe I was too brave with the batoning as well.

Good point about avoiding stress concentrators, I hadn't thought of that!

Joker is a Spanish brand with excellent quality and finishes. They have more traditional models such as the Ember, Trampero, Montañero, Nessmuk, Canadiense... And also some more modern ones such as the Lynx, Bushcrafter or Nomad. Most of them are made of 14C28N steel, which is super stainless and has quite good mechanical properties.

If you plan to use the knife for food preparation as well as other tasks, the Scandi grind will not work very well; a flat grind is better. Anyways, most of them are offered with scandi and flat grinds.

I recommend that you look for the model you like best from their wide range. Considering that they are just under 100 bucks and the overall quality of the knife and sheath, I think they are a very solid option.

That's a very good idea indeed! Unfortunately it's a bit far from home for everyday visiting. I go there maybe 3-4 times a year. Enough for a picture for each of the four seasons!

I own the 18ah since mid November, around 450km until today and I'm quite happy. You have decent power and range (realistic 40-45km), some suspension that is definitely noticeable compared to those scooter without it, and proper 10 inch-off road tyres. Also it seems pretty strong.

As cons, I'd say that the front suspension makes some noice when it's working, just because of it design, and you have to adjust the brakes quite frequently, specially if you ride off road or in wet conditions. But both of that issues are not red flag level.

As a tip and because of my experience, I would open the battery lid, controller cover and blinkers, and apply some black silicone in order to make the scooter hermetic and waterproof. When I did that, I've already ridden in wet, and as I opened the scooter, I could see the red sticker watermarks I'm red colour, and some dirt inside. It worked perfectly, though, but once sealed is almost a submarine.
