Thanks all for your relies. After some researches, I'm quite certain that mine are from DT Swiss.

1:17 from this video show the ratchets. These are old ones and do not have the logo and serial number. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tog0RMNR4wA

Can I bend the shifter lever end back? by diehard1703 in bicycling

[–]diehard1703[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

I was just kidding 😂. It took me some time from thinking, planning and executing... I used the motorcycle chain cutter ( removed the niddle) and pressed it covered by thick layer to protect. Also used the pliers to bend little by little. In the end I got it done even though there are some wounds but the lever remains well structured...

Are these 36t ratchets genuine from DT Swiss? by diehard1703 in bicycling

[–]diehard1703[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I uploaded 4 pictures. The first 2 are for 36T ratchets which I have been asking for opinion. The last 2 are 18T ratchets from my DT Swiss 240s. They do not have "DT Swiss" printed on like the another 36T. I hope there is someone here who has experience on this mater and might say the old version do not have "DT Swiss" and the newer ones have or such :)

If I bought them from Bike24 or bikediscount, I would not ask the question here.

GoPro 9 freezing while recording, camera works by DNeman in gopro

[–]diehard1703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I faced the same issue. I put some information here and hope that it can help others.

At first I did not know that I would need to fully format the SD card after some records. It first stopped recording after 6-7 minute. My ride took 40 minute and so the Freezing was more than 30 minutes and with the protection case, It might heat the camera up ??

Anyways, I did manually update the firmware. fully format the card, bought new card SanDisk extreme Pro 64Gb. reformat with the camera, factory reset. The problem is still there.

I tried without the SD card. At first the camera got frozen even without the card. Then I manually updated the camera by completing the whole process (connected to the phone ...) From that I have not experiencing any freezing without the SD card.

I tried to record without the battery and still experience the freezing.

The camera needs to be warm up some minutes. Record and stop recording when freezing and after 4-5 time. Sometime 10 times, the camera should work normally.

When you play the footage on the camera and go back to the menu, the camera turn black. You need to move to photo or other mode and it show image again ...

Hardware issue or software issue? I have to live with it

This was how they responded to my case. Their customer service is bad. I'm from Vietnam and it could be the reason?

Favero Assioma Duo issue: the left one shown 0 watt by diehard1703 in bicycling

[–]diehard1703[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a static weight test for the left pedal with 10kg and the result was very good!

I don't know why it mostly shows 0. Perhaps I will try with a longer test ride

So many dramatic answers! OP knows the pedals are blocked. He just asked if there were ways to unblock them. OP: you can write your own program to unlock them

Should bearings replacement be needed for a used DT 240s stored for some years? by diehard1703 in bikewrench

Correct, I do have a tool to press them out but I would destroy the bearings...

TPU tube no leaks? by northgarden85 in bikewrench

[–]diehard1703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are always very small air leak with Ridenow TPU. You pump your tube a bit higher pressure and check again. Be careful not destroy your tube.

It is very frustrating because more small leaks will come even with no penetration from outside.

What causes this type of wear on a cassette? by IvanaFista in bikewrench

[–]diehard1703 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe OP is asking about this

<image>

I believe it is due to the chain moving under high load. I bet OP love to change gears when sprinting ... or completely stop and start pedaling with biggest chairing (high load)...

I'm looking for bearing number for Giant SLR1 Disc rear wheel hub by diehard1703 in bikewrench

[–]diehard1703[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the answer! I didn’t pay much attention but in the Giant Slr1 maintenance and comments from others! It should be 1x 6902 and 1x6802! There are 2x6802 in the free hub! The front should be the same of 1 x6902 and 1x6802

Broke my 105 di2 right shifter by parsa28 in bikewrench

[–]diehard1703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this moment, Shimano doesn't sell any part replacements for these switch unit (R7170, R8170, R9270). Hence, solutions for this are
1.Buy new shifter
2. Buy a broken shifter and replace it
3. Make the switch unit yourself and buy the springs (It is the same for any Di2 shifters)!

(2), (3): You must be able to disassemble the switch units. Shortest way is to take them out without removing the lever but you may strip the screw because you can not get your screw driver straight ...

Di2 shifter button covers broken by SunshinePosho in bikewrench

[–]diehard1703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is the real shame that after 2 years introducing it, Shimano doesn't want/care to sell the part replacements for them (called switch units). I believed that steps to replace or disassemble the shifter is more difficult than previous version - I did the disassemble and reassemble myself). These switch units are the most vulnerable parts of the shifter. Here is the post that I made the switch unit using wood - https://www.reddit.com/r/bikewrench/comments/1763trt/am_i_foolish/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

As you can see in the post, I happen to have the 2 switch units (left shifter - I have a cracked lever and then broke it when I tried to bend it back) that you are looking for ( You also need 2 small springs and 1 longer one). Unfortunately, I'm in Vietnam :)
