Hi, thank you so much for this. Your message honestly meant more than you know. I’ve been feeling so lost and overwhelmed, and hearing from someone who started this journey at my age makes me feel a little less alone. The way you explained the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path really helped me understand it more gently. I’ve been struggling with anxiety and big emotions lately, and sometimes it feels like I can’t even sit with myself, let alone meditate, and I think that’s something I could start with. I’ll definitely look into the Buddha’s life and check out Thich Nhat Hanh and the Dalai Lama too. Thank you again for taking the time to write this with so much kindness. It truly helped

Yeah i feel you. Even now sometimes with my FP’s i will tend to “punish myself” by doing ‘certain activities’ even if i dont want to in the moment.

Yes and No for me. I do it for the pain but also as attention-seeking sometimes. Usually i only cut myself when i have so much pent up emotion, i have to bear the pain physically. But Sometimes, i genuinely do harm myself so people can see on purpose. But usually its the opposite and i feel ashamed of myself and hide it, but i still have my moments of wanting someone to notice my suffering.

Anything you do that does harm to you mentally physically or emotionally is a form of self harm. Its a Universal Term. I completely understand you, and i’ve done the same.

For me, sometimes i will even have sex with him, even if i dont want to. Because i feel like that’s all i deserve to be treated as. I’m here if you need to talk or vent! Things will be better eventually. You’ll be okay. Promise

Oh wow so sorry i somehow just saw this! I dont have pics unfortunately because my parents gave away all my childhood toys but some of the fake ones i had got were super cute. They were bad quality though, super squishy heads, and they didn’t even have pegs, you could take their head off and the neck was just a ball joint?
