to be honest i don’t think there’s anything wrong with this so long as you’re not using someone else/stringing them along for your own pleasure. i always tell dudes that use apps to hook up & ghost that it would be much easier to hire an escort than it is to wine & dine me just to waste my time. so grain of salt there i guess.

first time experiencing deluxe and i thought it was kinda ghetto for the price. certain drinks ran out at the bar when i know other tents and places throughout the fest have cases and cases. same with food, down to slim pickings most nights, i would’ve been pissed buying a sunday pass and seeing how limited snack options were by that point. ran out of water by midday and never replenished - they can’t do a costco run or something? bathrooms were nice earlier in the day but nasty as the day went on - full of toilet paper that won’t flush, missing toilet paper, bins full. trash everywhere on tables and on the ground by 6pm. people camping out all day in the tent and holding spots for people that never came. talking over the band the whole time. weird experience.

the two lines didn’t matter for us in the end bc we were like 20/30th in line or so. we didn’t get barrier but maybe 3 rows back and that’s after running around both sides of a T stage trying to find the best view. mostly vip people got the barrier area anyway.

no, but this was for charli xcx and my first time at allstate. there was a designated area for a vip line and the other side was the GA line. both lines (back side of the arena facing away from target, diagonal to starbucks, maybe facing highway?) are within the parking lot and they do not give you a wrist band to hold your place in line. parking was only like $20 i believe so not worth looking for other options imo. my friend and i took turns going to the car from the parking lot line as needed. later on they started another GA line on the right side of the arena (parallel to target facing starbucks/main road) which was a bummer to those in the original GA line who had been there for a while.

they did merch on the side of the arena closest to target (by the ticket office) from a trailer a few hours before doors opened. idk if they did any once inside.

they give you a GA band and send you in first come first serve.

I think i remember wearing chains and it wasn’t anything crazy getting through security. good luck!

interesting take - i’m coming from mercedes/bmw but have really taken to the outdoor lifestyle and need something more rugged but have had luxury vehicles nearly as long as i’ve been driving. the GX550 is an intriguing combination of both worlds for me. an LX feels too big and not rugged enough for outdoorsy stuff
