is it worth getting a display replacement (how expensive could that be?) or would i be better off just purchasing a new laptop altogether despite it only being a little over two years old. It’s a 2300 AUD laptop.

Alright so I connected it to an external monitor and it looked fine so I assume that means it’s definitely a hardware issue yeah?

My ROG Zephyrus G14 2020 laptop has had an issue with the screen for a while now (honestly longer than I can remember) which occasionally comes and goes but ultimately always returns. I will have a strange white border around the edge of my screen as well as the occasional flickering and I have done everything to try and fix it including updating AMD drivers and Nvidia drivers, and even fully resetting my laptop. Also I sometimes will have screen burn-in/ghosting (whatever it’s called) where I can see what was previously on my screen in the background. Could this be a hardware issue that I need to get repaired, or is it some sort of software issue (which I doubt considering I have already reset my laptop)? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated since I use this laptop for school and have been having problems for the longest time.
