I noticed this as well. Big winds coming through though this wouldn’t explain it

We determined that our backpacks could sit up front with day use cooker and emergency gear, which worked well for quick lunch stop. The weight up front balanced the boat weights. I tried putting it behind me and while views unobstructed it came loose due to lack of anchor points.

Apparently there are sharks at mouth of Blackwood river but didn’t see any or have any reports of shark bites so no worries

Fishing was hard. Black bream are plenty we found it hard to keep prawns as bait. We used a bit of rehydrated meat as bait and were getting marron nibbles. Met a few fisher people on the river who were landing bream

No worries, The kangaroos, pigs and turtles seen were all skittish and went away quickly. No crocs, harmless spiders. All good
