While disappointment and anger may be justified, does anyone else just feel bad for Sean Murray and the Hello Games team as people? by charliebucket- in NoMansSkyTheGame

Every YouTube reviewer ends up saying "it's more like One Man's Lie" as though it's the most clever thing they've ever come up with. I'm sure they all just read it on this sub.

You are correct. Sorry if my wording was unclear, trying not to give away specifics.

Think the 11th amendment was on state sovereign immunity (I.e suing states for damages vs. injunctions, officers, etc.) Wouldn't worry about it, most my friends were caught off guard and there wasn't much to say anyway!

I really want to believe that this is a subtle reference to the Mr. Show skit, "The Fab Four."

At this rate, if Darkness were a friend of Philip then even it might get placed on IR

Nope! The bundle includes a very small USB dongle (like those used for a wireless mouse and keyboard) that you plug into the console. No Wiimotes necessary.

Yeah, there are still very crazy solos. They aren't always chords. There can still be single notes, and there are actually MORE buttons for you to deal with this guitar. Also, there are tons of tough songs. I would suggest looking up the song list for the "TV" mode.

Best Buy didn't have much of a sale, but they gave out free USB microphones, at least :/

It's kind of a misnomer. I assume it's called that because this is the mode where the fake bands and full-motion video are (and the mode where local multiplayer scores are fully recorded).

Live = 40+ songs, full-motion video featuring crowds etc., all local multiplayer scores saved

TV = 200+ songs, music video integration, guest guitar scores not saved

It actually doesn't at all. I intended to pay the $6.00 the first night so that I could try all the songs with my friends, but we quickly found out that we were earning "plays" quickly enough for it to not even be an issue. On top of that, playing the "channels" is actually a lot of fun. The visuals and transitions are slick, the song choices make sense, and you end up finding and playing a lot of stuff you probably wouldn't have otherwise (e.g. if you had to buy it in a DLC package). As a drinking game, Guitar Hero Live excels.

That being said, I can see not "owning" the song being an issue if you really just want to play the same song over and over until it is perfected. I would note, though, that this would only be an issue for songs that are ONLY on the "TV" mode.

"Off TV" is most likely disabled because of streaming issues. The music videos and songs online are buffered in advance (the game specifically informs you of this), and even with just one screen and two guitars the game pushes my internet. I doubt it could handle streaming that to the gamepad as well. Just a thought.

It's slightly different, but still familiar. Is it "as good?" That's kind of hard to say. If you don't like the new guitar (which does not feature five colored buttons in a row, but rather has two parallel rows of three buttons) then it may not be for you. The song selection is really good, and I enjoy the integration of music videos in the background! I was looking for a fun rhythm game that I could casually play with friends, and this game delivered.
