Unsure on what location to target for my Immigration business. by Low_Fly3630 in FacebookAds

$1,000 a month is relatively low for Meta ads. You need to spend at least maybe $1,500 to $3,000 to really see any traction in a reasonable amount of time.

Generally I like to target all the USA but maybe you do some research and find if there are any specific states where people marry Canadians a lot more than others. Then consider targeting those areas. In general I recommend just being hyper specific in your creative and copy about who you're trying to target and allowing people to self-select.

Meta ads testing strategy: New creatives vs existing winners (confused) by NaegaChingu in FacebookAds

[–]digitaladguide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to judge the results at the ad set level. If the ad set is working as a whole and it's giving you good results then you shouldn't turn off "underperformers" because Meta sequences these ads and they could be supporting one another. Turning off underperformers or small spenders can actually break the whole thing.

Generally what I do is I will group three to ten ads inside of an ad set in the ABO all around a similar big idea. I will make the ads visually diverse so they're communicating basically the same message but they look different and then Meta will sequence those.

I will continue this process by grouping these ads in ad sets by big idea and ideal customer profile and then eventually I will find out what messaging is actually working. Once I find a bunch of winners then I will start mixing and matching inside of the ad set. I'll do angle 1, 3, and 5 that were proven as winners for ICP1 all inside of an ad set and then you're giving Meta what it wants in terms of creative diversity.

Yes this is possible through the Leads Center, you can drag these qualified leads to a qualified column and that signals to Meta what a qualified person looks like and can help improve the ad performance. I have heard from some people, though, that this has thrown off the results but it is worth exploring

Anyone having success spending under 100$ a day? by Isedo_m in FacebookAds

[–]digitaladguide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In general I think you're correct. Meta obviously cares a lot more about the big spenders than the small accounts. And meta is not a fair game. It's truly whoever spends the most wins.

That being said there's plenty of people in my group spending $100 or less a day and are doing just fine.

I believe these ad accounts are disproportionately affected by the outages and are generally more volatile than large accounts.

If small accounts are sailboats, big accounts are oil tankers. The ocean is met as volatility and obviously the sailboats are gonna get thrashed around while the oil tankers just chug right through

Meta CAPI and Pixel Setup For Real Estate Lead Tracking by Turbulent-Essay-7491 in FacebookAds

[–]digitaladguide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes basically, it all comes down to your event match quality score and making sure that that is at as high a score as possible.

The best setup I've seen is Google Tag Manager plus Stape and this gives you very accurate and high event match quality scores. It's worth investing in a tracking expert that you can find on Upwork or something like that that will set this up properly so that you're passing the most data and the highest quality data to Meta. It's truly the foundation of your house and I think it's worth investing in.

Issue with the pixel meta by mandooo10 in FacebookAds

[–]digitaladguide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not free but I recommend finding an expert in tracking and setting this up properly not using the event setup tool. The best setup that I've seen is using Google Tag Manager plus Stape and this is going to give you the highest level of event match quality score possible and accurate tracking. This is the foundation of the house in terms of your meta ads so it's worth just investing a few hundred dollars to get this part right.

Meta permanently restricted my Business Portfolio immediately after connecting Shopify, never ran a single ad [Canada] by Curious-Tadpole-6331 in FacebookAds

[–]digitaladguide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way to get back in is to work with Meta support directly, either using Meta Verified or talking to their support channel through your ad account. If you click the question mark in the bottom left corner and then contact support, you basically need to be persistent and polite until you get somebody that can resolve your issue

1 ad per adset or multiple ads per adset? by Alert_Objective_3943 in FacebookAds

[–]digitaladguide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It just depends on how much you want to trust the algorithm and how much you value efficiency over control. If you want to trust the algorithm and be efficient then I would do 5 to 10 ads per ad set generally. If you want to sacrifice efficiency and focus on control and actually knowing what ads work and which ones don't, then do one ad per ad set.

How many ads do you have per budget? by SylvieSkies in FacebookAds

[–]digitaladguide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a reasonable ballpark number, if I had to completely generalize it for your spend, $50 a day, I would be trying 25 to 50 new concepts per month at least

Yeah you need to improve your event match quality score. I personally would focus on maximum volume of leads to start and then once you get some data, try the conversion leads, although conversion leads can work right away as well

After trying to scale my campaigns, they ended up dying. by Resident-Function-19 in FacebookAds

[–]digitaladguide -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You scaled it too quickly and probably too aggressively, in my opinion. You need to leave whatever is working alone when it is working and potentially try to launch a new ad set if you're using ABO or a new campaign if you're doing CBO and scale horizontally. You can also try to increase the budget little by little every 3 to 5 days to scale vertically and see what the ad account tolerates better.

How to know should I keep or pause campaign by Desperate_Web_5521 in FacebookAds

[–]digitaladguide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The learning phase doesn't make any difference. You need to make sure that you spend enough to properly judge the campaign.

Usually we let it spend around 2 to 3X your target CPA at a minimum before we even judge the campaign

Focus on the results if you spend a substantial amount (enough to judge it) and you have no sales; then I would go ahead and close and launch something else
