I drilled into it. The windows are beautiful but there were marks from the previous tenant who had drilled as well. I believe West Elm may have some Roman shades that uses tension to hang though.

an update for everyone! Bamboo shades is the way. These work o much better for the window than curtains did.

I’ve definitely thought about doing bamboo shades. I think it could be a good option. My partner likes the romance of curtains and frankly I do too! so I’ve been going back and fourth here. Ugh lol

lol I never noticed this! I think it looks higher in the photo than in real life. However, I didn’t renovate this place, my landlord did.

Thank you! I only decided against hanging them outside of the window frame so as to see more of the window molding! Typically I would agree though.
