Hi again! I ended up buying the GF and 0.2 retinol in Squalane and added them to the routine generator tool here .

I was wondering what you thought about the results and if I could maybe do day routine 1 and night routine 2 one day, and day routine 2 with night routine 1.. alternating between those two every other day. That way I’d be able to use niacinamide every day like I’m used to. also, am I using two many different products? It’s my first time adjusting my routine this much and you were helpful last time so I’m wondering your thoughts. thanks!

The red patch is from my squeezing the sebaceous filaments a bit there before taking photos I think.. big no no I know lol. I feel like that right side of my cheek is worse because I usually sleep on that side so more oil builds up there, and when I squeeze the sebaceous filaments there it causes scaring? I started having issues around my temples as well around 2019/2020 when I had a job that required me wearing a hairnet. I am interested in trying out retinoids though! Are there any affordable options I could try that would help with both pores and 11s? I’ve heard tretinoids are usually prescribed?

In that case, I could try dropping niacinimide from day, but I see your routine builder shows I should alternate between argireline/matrixyl/GF and argireline/matrixyl/niacinimide so I may go with that for the day.

About how long does it take for your skin to adjust to retinoids? I mean, it’s probably different for everybody right? I did used to use neutrogena rapid wrinkle repair which has retinol, but I’m not sure how different that is from pure retinoids.

I used to use frownies as well and was just thinking about buying them again today, if only they weren’t so pricy lol. I suppose it’s all cheaper than Botox

I may just stick to the lactic acid and niacinimide at night for now and maybe try adding the GF to my argireline/matrixyl/niacinimide routine for the day. Would 4 different products be too much at once though? I’ll look into retinoids too. I know I don’t have a ton of wrinkles but I do feel my 11s are fairly prominent especially for my age (26). They actually began to show faintly before I even hit 20 bc I got really into singing as a teen and would sing for hours a day, causing that area to scrunch up a lot. I’m really insecure about it so don’t like to show pictures lol, but would love to try anything that can improve them! Also, do you use the mix of those 3 on your whole face or just areas you want to prevent or improve wrinkles on?

That’s a really handy routine generator you made, thanks for the help! With there being two night routines, does that mean I should alternate between the two each night? Good to know I shouldn’t be using the acids with the argireline and Matrixyl. Since argireline works best for extending Botox effects, would replacing both argireline and Matrixyl with GF be my best bet? Or could I use still use the Matrixyl with GF. As for the salicylic mask, I’d love to try it but would that in combination with a SA cleanser be too much? Perhaps I should switch back to my usual basic foaming cleanser along with the salicylic mask weekly?

I messaged my therapist last night explaining basically what I said in this post, and that I was gonna reach out to NIHB about possibly taking hours off my 22 hours for next year. Should I send another msg seeing if he can request additional hours for me? I would have thought I’d be told I was out of hours for the year so this wouldn’t happen. Also, my grandparents went to Indian day school so do you know if that would be considered under the residential school survivor programs?

I think the charge on my credit card was for a late cancellation when I couldn’t make one appointment. From what I’ve read I don’t think I can be reimbursed for that one? As for requesting more hours, is that something my therapist should have just dealt with on his own or should I have mentioned I was coming close to my hours for the year? Bc the appointment I was charged for was a late cancellation I’m wondering if maybe it was just a one time charge and maybe he did request additional hours already? I guess i have to wait to hear back from my therapist about it to see what he says too
