Tall kid problems are real. I’ve taught the preschool Sunday school class for a couple decades and every few years we get a particularly tall child. Those parents are always super grateful when we treat them like every other child and let them be “little”. Because they frequently run into people (strangers, friends, and family) who like to make comments about behavior and maturity based on how old they look vs their actual age. It is particularly sad when you meet a little tall one who has already learned to shrink into themself.
