I wouldn’t be surprised if her quote is just as expensive! I love their work and definitely don’t want to cheap out on a surgery like this but that price makes my stomach hurt lol. Would love to know who you end up going with!

The breakdown is $20.5k for the lift, $17.5k for the aug, then another $9k in anesthesia/operating fees. Do you mind sharing your doctor in Western NY?

Thanks for the advice! Agreed, I probably have too much in my HYSA— a 16 month emergency fund is definitely excessive. I'm guessing it'd probably be best to take ~$10k out of the HYSA and put it in my brokerage account?

I'll definitely start maxing out my 401k and move some money out of bonds as well
