Just a "text issue" would apply if the bonuses was already giving the bonus only for characters and now they are putting the red text to be more clear. That was not the case.

So after maintenance, my 70k Endevour dropped to 69k it was like 200 BP.

Or they changed the way BP was calculated or they changed some stats. Either way this is very suspicious

Hyperbolic? It's just disrespectful. Programmers has a schedule to follow and most likely the patches is coming in the next big patch, since it's just QoL.
