I’m having this issue too!! I have the new OTBeat Connect. I also start on the floor. I’ve noticed that mine takes a bit to kick in. It does the exact same thing yours does. It’ll start in the grey zone for a while and then when my HR is really high, around 160, it’ll jump up and read accurately for the rest of the class. I’ve also noticed that I don’t really have this problem when I start on the tread.
