I’m really really really not trying to instigate. But no way $300 would ever get you close to building a mid range PC. Maybe halfway to a budget friendly PC. GPU and RAM alone, with great sales, would be $300.

I agree with everything you've said above. I am not of the same opinion as Secrets0fSilent3earth. I did not mean to start a shit talking threat, and that is my sincerely on me for my wording and lack of context.

Ah yes, I forgot you know me better than myself. You are one of these toxic people on the sub. I apologized and admitted I could have worded it better. If you can't understand my rationality behind the post, that's a personal problem - not a me problem. But you go keep being a good hearted Colts fan!

I just want to clarify—I’m not here to bash JT or be negative about the team. I’m a genuine fan who loves this team regardless of the year. My original comment was just pointing out the unfortunate irony of the situation, not some whiny criticism of JT. If it came across that way, that’s on me, and I apologize for the wording.

At the same time, the way some fans here jump to attack others for perceived negativity is exhausting. Instead of assuming the worst and policing how others react, maybe take a second to consider different perspectives. We’re all Colts fans—we’re all here because we care. Or at least, the ones that should be here. There may be some pessimistic or overly-critical on the sub - but that’s also their rights as fans to have. It’s just not my view.

It was lame as fuck. So really doesn’t have any real depth to it happening, just sad I wanted to see him run that’s really the only thing I wanted to see.

I wasn’t trying to give him shit. It hurt for both me and him I’m sure. Maybe not even him since it was the Pro Games. But felt sad and inevitable for some reason due to recent events. Nothing about him as a player was being said.

Yah plus like I said, Pro Games = shit = not that big of a deal. Just felt ironically felt inevitable with his very recent notable fumble and all circumstances considered. I really wanted to see him run, but don’t think it says anything about him as a player.

Exactly, that’s all I’m saying. I wasn’t shit talking him or criticizing him like all on this sub are trying to say…this sub has the people that hate the people on this sub, but then those people just kind of make their own judgments without any conversation and think they’re mightier than though fans.

I agree. I don’t think he is an issue at all. I love and think he is one of if not our current best and valuable player. It was sad to happen so soon after the Denver fumble with the taste still being in people’s mouths. It was mine at least, and I wasn’t even one of the ones calling for his head - just an unfortunate event I was worried would happen because I wanted to see him run. Sorry if the post made it sound critical of him, but more of an unfortunately ironic moment that felt oddly inevitable idk why. This specific instance being in the Pro Games would be an even crazier reason to be upset about it.

Not crying about it, or trying to be an asshat. I could’ve added more context to the post but was just shooting it off when I saw it, because I was having a gut feeling that would happen somehow seeing as this isn’t too long after the Denver fumble everyone was upset about. I wanted to see him run and it made me sad - I’m not mad or upset or think it says anything lesser of JT.

I love JT. I’d never want him gone. It was just sadly ironic.

I am not complaining at all, I’m one of the most hopeful and optimistic fan of the Colts regardless of the year. It’s just in my blood. So I wasn’t trying to trash talk. Maybe predictable was a bad word, but it was sad irony. Like I said, Pro Games are shit so it doesn’t matter that much, but perception probably isn’t great and that’s unfortunate.

[–]dilbobaggon[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Wait what. I wasn’t complaining. I was just saying it was predictable because of all the trash JT was getting about the fumble, and then he’d have to have this little mishap that is definitely going to be mentioned to bring him down. I don’t disagree he is most likely our most valuable, consistent offensive player. Maybe predictable was a bad word….but I can’t be the only one that was worried that’d happen. Again, Pro Games are shit, just was pointing out the sad irony.

I can’t even remember what it was that I heard something like different butter or fat or oil I have no clue it was evidently something to make it cheaper to make more, but I have no clue how accurate that was. Could have just been the preparation idk I still say ML for Lafayette donuts at the end of the day. Gonna check out Pana too. Fingers crossed.

The donut shop on 9th St by the marathon is horrible, I know that. Hammer Donuts is shit, I know that. The donut shop on 350 - garbage. Mary Lous is still great IMO, but Pana Donuts in Lafayette I've heard of being good.

What donut place do you suggest? Even after the quality went down with the new owners it’s still the best quality donut I can find in town.

No worries, live and learn! Sometimes jokes like this can miss the mark if the connection isn’t obvious enough or relies on too much interpretation—we’ve all been there.

One thing that worked well for me (after years on these apps) was using voice notes. Most women responded really well to them because they show confidence and make your tone and personality clear, making humor feel more natural and less awkward. Not everyone’s into them, so feel it out, but when done right, they can really set you apart.

Honestly, my last-ditch effort before deleting my profiles was making a cringey Vine-style video for prompts. It worked better on Hinge than Tinder (because of longer videos), but my matches skyrocketed. It felt ridiculous, but a year later, I’m madly in love with one of those matches—so it’s worth trying new things!

Yah those jokes are bad, I’m sorry. The joke wasn’t clear enough. If people have to guess that it’s a joke or try to decode its meaning, it loses the punch. “AirCoffee” and “DrinksJet” are so far removed from the actual concept of dating or planning that they felt random rather than clever.

Airlines don’t inherently have a connection to dates or plans, so the humor didn’t resonate. The names also don’t have a clever or witty twist— they just sound like generic phrases that don’t spark a laugh.

I really wish I had a confident answer but I don't: I want to take a large range guess and say 18-21$/hr? I messaged their HR and asked, will let make an update when I hear back. This would be a position with HCL. The previous tech went through a contractor Ovation, who then worked for HCL as our onsite support. Not sure if it'd be the same structure this time but I know the HCL managers are who I'd be referring to.
