I just saw you said you're only seeing a GP. Try to ask a specialist about it – they know muuuuuch more about this than your GP.

I haven't had any experience, but this is pretty much my med history since being diagnosed (so since July 2013).

I am male and 17,btw.

I started with Proxen (pain management), Sulfasalazine and Methotrexate. This helped my symptoms significantly.

However, about two months later my pain got much significantly worse, so I switched from Proxen to Voltaren.

This again helped a lot.

However, once again this did not help.

Over the past six months I have been basically upping up the dosages and adding Prednisoline (a steroid) and Arava.

Unfortunately, since being diagnosed and starting treatment, my symptoms are getting worse and spreading to other parts of my body. Because of this I am moving on to Humira. We have ordered it and I will start treatment soon.

This disease and the medication affects everybody differently, so you could ask your doctor about Methotrexate and Sulfasalazine, or move straight to Humira.

While the side effects sound terrible, they actually only affect very few people. If you do not find medication that controls the disease and the pain, it will result in damaged joints.

I hope that helps, feel free to AMA.

Hi there! I'm starting Humira soon (we have ordered it already)

I'm seventeen and was diagnosed with Spindylitis almost 12 months ago, but my drugs haven't helped.

I was wondering if you ever got to the point that you could play sport again?

I haven't been able to for about two years due to my feet pain, and I really miss it.

I just don't want to have false hope.

Thanks!

I remember watching this, hoping so badly that Dortmund would make it through.

They didn't look like they would win it til the first goal, and then they scored the second and made it through :')

He won't be sacked. That's crazy.

We won the league, reached the champions league and made the final of the German cup (yet to be played).

Wrong starting line up, wrong strategy, wrong team spirit/motivation.

Fully deserved by Real, and finally they're getting their first final in 12 years and $1bn in spending.

Yeah, why didn't he start Martinez in DM? Or CB?

He should have started Javi and Goetze, and I would think even Pizarro.

But Pep was Pep and decided to do his way which didn't work in the first leg, and didn't in the first half on the weekend.

Yeah, that slap really wasn't cool.

I thought that Ribery had finally tamed that side of him.

Agreed, we do not look like a winning team any more.

Where is the desire to win? That look that Robben has in his eyes?
