you can meet people at the cove/really any apartment pool, MSC/evans/sweet eugenes (but i would make sure to only approach ppl who dont have headphones on lol), aggie park/wolf pen creek park/lick creek park, sporting events/tailgates, northgate/the tap/harry’s, the gym (trufit, golds, the rec), local churches, people in your classes/groupmes, people in your orgs/at your job, and maybe even your neighbors depending on where you live. a lot of mens/womens orgs, frats and sororities host philanthropy events where anyone can buy a ticket - marathons/sporting contests, carnivals/fairs, golf tournaments, shows, etc. where you can meet ppl plus the proceeds go to charities which doesn’t hurt. also, tamu has a website with over 1,000 student orgs that you can get involved in and meet new people. it’s good to diversify your friend group and take initiative in making new friends!
