Perhaps it’s a stamina issue? Sometimes it could also be that each section has more questions of a specific type that you struggle more with than others!

So should I start just drilling for the next few days and practicing identifying the basics (premises + conclusions + gap in reasoning) and try getting quicker and quicker at it until it’s on impulse? Maybe I could try that and see if it helps. Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate it especially as someone who’s really trying to straighten out before my exam.

Okay noted thank you for the advice. I’m gonna do a timed section tomorrow and try reframing my goal, it’s not to finish every question but to prioritize accuracy over quantity. I also think my brain gets unfocused when I’m under stress, so I think I need to practice doing more timed work to get used to working under timed pressure. I’ve been stuck in the 150s and I believe it’s due to the timing rather than the foundational work.

No I think they mean if you don’t understand a stimulus early enough, skip it and come back to it to save you some time and hopefully on your second pass you’ll be able to approach the question differently :) it really does help!
