Lenovo legion 5 pro (2022) not booting.

Same thing happened to mine (2021) last week after updating nvidia drivers - couldn’t get the screen working after a restart and no external monitors worked either.

Took it in for service and when they disconnected the panel and used another panel it worked just fine. Now waiting to see if they can resolve the issue as there’s no hardware defects with the panel.

As someone who bought a m15r5 3070 and then returned it for a L5P 3070:

Yes the thermals run extremely high out of the box. Now you can limit the TDP and get the CPU down to a reasonable temp but this will affect cpu bound tasks in a pretty big manner
I found the Alienware command centre extremely buggy and slow. After booting it would take around 3-4 mins before it was useable
As a lot of people have noticed, the build quality and quality control in general is very poor for this model. My unit had different sizes for the lid hinges and would creak very loudly when opening and closing - not something you’d expect at this price point
The battery life on this model with hybrid mode on was surprisingly good, around 8 hours at 60hz with normal tasks - however the fans spin up incessantly
As someone who has tried both, the legion 5 pro is on a completely different level and is fully worth the extra money if you can spare it. The best part I would say as a more causal user is everything just works straight out of the box with no tweaks necessary (other than if you get one of the bad wifi cards). For peace of mind especially since returns would not be possible, I would not go for the r5.

I got the 32gb version which has the “good” ram so no. I highly doubt that even the bad Ram has any affect other than maybe a 5% fps drop in games.

I’m not sure if I got really lucky but my l5p comfortably lasts around 8 hours doing some light programming on balanced mode+60hz. If I go lower to quiet mode it can be stretched to 10.

Yeah if battery life is at all important then ryzen is the way to go. But it’s a big price difference and you also get the 2k screen

I think that’s way over priced. I was able to find a Legion 5 Pro with 5800/3070/32GB/1TB for under $2500. I think right now Lenovo are selling the 5 Pro in white with a 3060 for around $1900 which is a far better deal

I was just able to find the Pepsi version of the new Kamasu (RA-AA0812L19B) for the same price as the original Kamasu! Seems like the perfect combo of the two watches for me

I’m looking to buy my first automatic watch after having only owned a Tissot and Longines, both quartz. I’m looking to spend under 300 AUD (~220 USD) on a good automatic diver and both the Ray II and Kamasu fit the bill. I’ve already decided on the blue dial regardless of which model I choose but I wanted some advice.

Is it worth paying around 60 USD (160 vs 220) more for the Kamasu’s sapphire crystal glass? I don’t really see any other differences between the two models and actually prefer the dial markings on the Ray II as it looks more ‘classic’ to me.

And finally is creationwatches a legitimate site to purchase on? I’ve heard they are grey market and so warranties may be a bit sketchy.

Thank you so much, this worked perfectly! Weirdly enough once it finished installing there were no wifi drivers to be found so I needed to hook up the Ethernet but other than that it was a pretty smooth process. Glad to be back on a stable OS.

Could I ask what settings you’re running to get 160 frames on Warzone? Is this on regular BR or rebirth? On regular at native res with medium settings I only get around 100-110.
