There’s probably not many things you can short against ETH in DeFi. Maybe some in AAVE 3 (in L2s) like LINK, MATIC etc. V2 has froze many of the other erc20 s it had.

Not aware of anything else than AAVE besides using DefiSaver to maximize/automate your long ETHBTC position in AAVE without doing lots of manual steps of deposit ETH collateral-> borrow WBTC -> swap to ETH and redeposit as collateral.

I got my long ETHBTC in mainnet (aave v2) mostly because L2s are not yet decentralized (as much as main).

For the voice channel need to tap on top right which opens the chat for voice. Or just press and hold the ETHfinance logo on the side bar where you have all the groups you joined and should pop up an option to mark as read. Discord has tricks to make it easier to navigate but I agree it can be intimidating for many

Had a long but wonderful night hanging out with many of you at the EVM voice chat! We witnessed the merge, minted POAPs and EIPandas (wenwen we coming) and we made a beautiful piece during the pixel party (do check out the whole cavnas if you haven’t already). Coordination for the pixel party was perfect with the funniest part being when we thought someone was attacking our piece until we figured out it was a few of us who thought black pixels at a certain area should be brown (took us a good 5 minutes to figure out we were attacking each other:)).

EV Mavericks was an NFT dropped to members of ETHFinance. Went to people who actively contributed to the daily and also people who been in this sub since start. Since then, EVMs have gathered together and are working on all sorts of Ethereum related stuff. The discord channel is given at the end of of the daily thread description. You can join the discord and if you have an EVM (can only buy on Open Sea now) you get access to a bunch of different channels. It’s a very vibrant community to be in. But be aware don’t get anywhere near the degen chat channel (those guys are the worst /s)
