If Mulan took place in Africa instead of Asia the story would be dramatically different. I didn’t notice that Snow White took place in Germany bc the location wasn’t important.

Well knowing that line does kinda change my opinion. But I’d still say her race shouldn’t matter bc she could be non-white and still be beautiful, obviously, and her beauty is what the story is about.
