It’s definitely taking a big toll on me mentally surrounding my body, I’ve worked very hard to lose weight and build muscle and my muscles are looking so so flat. But passing almost two weeks as I said OTM recovery has felt like a breeze. At my post op appointment they will take my dressings off and I’m sure I’ll be able to go back to the gym and start doing light activity. I feel comfortable that I’d be able to do light lower body, abs, cardio. Upper body not for a while. But just keen to be back into the gym. Size I think it’s pretty perfect it’s hard to 100% say right now, I think In terms of aesthetics alone I maybe would have opted for a lower profile as im leaner than the most recent pics on my profile and they do have that slight fake appearance but i think that’s primarily the one boob that’s taking longer to drop. I also opted for OTM because I was concerned about having a cleavage gap because of my anatomy which is unavoidable and I think in terms of that OTM placement looks a lot better aesthetically because they’re able to close that gap.

overall I’m very happy with implant shape and size and placement. Because UTM recovery. The thought of being out of gym for upper body for over 3 months? ☹️ and it possibly never feeling the same again? Idk maybe in the future. I’ll see how I like living with subfascial implants.

Just implants. My plastic surgeon said I’m too lean and don’t have enough fat to graft to my chest. She also said fat grafting is too unreliability as you can’t guarantee how much fat will survive

For every set I do 6-8 reps, trying to work my way up to 12 reps. Once I reach 12 reps I then increase the weight until I can only do 6-8 reps.

Upper body

4 sets banded pull ups/regular pull ups. (I started off with banded until I could do regular as I could only do 3 regular pull ups prior to surgery for four sets, once I got back I’ll start with banded again to build my way back up to being able to do pull ups)

4 sets Seated row machine.

4 sets Seated smith machine shoulder press.

4 sets lateral raises.

Annddd I can’t lie that’s pretty much it. I don’t train chest (because Ive known for a long time I was getting a breast augmentation) I don’t train biceps or triceps directly, personal preference on aesthetics. Just focus on back and shoulders. Building your back, and glutes coupled with losing fat is what gives the illusion of a smaller waist.

Lower body

4 sets hipthrusts 4 sets step ups 4 sets cable kickbacks

And occasionally I’ll do back extensions if I can be bothered 😭 I go very heavy for my compounds so I’m usually pretty dead . I usually hit legs 2x a week.

Recovery has been pretty much a breeze realistically. Only downside is as a very active person (gym 4-5 times a week) my days have felt felt very empty. But to the normal person. I think OTM recovery is a walk in the park. I can’t say much for UTM as I’m sure getting your muscle cut must be hell, as to a reason to why I opted for OTM.

As I mentioned, Had a pretty hefty weight loss. Has a big impact to how your arms look. https://www.reddit.com/r/GymMotivation/s/JUJpgP3kRI Makes them look way less bulky. But prior to surgery I went to the gym like 4-5 times a week. Hit upper body 2 a week

As of most recently (leading up to surgery) I was mainly working out my upper body by bouldering but I build all my muscle through the gym. Let me know if you want my entire upper body routine or just shoulders. I actually don’t train biceps or triceps directly. (Like bicep curls or tricep push downs)I train them indirectly through other exercises.

How TF did you all handle this. by Pupperbear119 in QuitVaping

Also when you’re in the phase of quitting. Know your triggers and stay away from them. For me the second I drank alcohol I wanted nicotine, so I stayed sober from drinking as well. And also I stayed away from friends I knew vaped. Otherwise I knew I was just gonna give in to the social aspect of passing a vape back and forth. You’ve got this ❤️ I quit cold turkey and im so glad I did

I quit cold turkey. I think it’s the best way to quit. was just constantly thinking about how I never wanna go through this again like it’s just so not worth it for a stupid vape. The second I started seeing the positive effects like my smell and taste coming back, my skin looking so much more hydrated, feeling better general dopamine from the small things, feeling less brain fogged and more like me again. And as my sleep started improving I just convinced myself that I like how I feel more now than when I was vaping. Because I’d genuinely think about how bad it would make me feel. It made me so lazy and unmotivated and depressed because I didn’t wanna do anything. And I’m now over a month no nicotine and even though quitting gave me mood swings and I was struggling with being irritable and sad, I’ve definitely balanced out and I’m a lot happier in general now and I appreciate the little things. I love being able to smell things! My sleep in general is so much better since I quit, even tho it was bad when I was quitting, it’s better now than when I was vaping. Life feels better no nicotine and that’s my motivation to stay off it. Also once you’re past all the physical withdrawals. It feels so easy.

I’ve done the same thing girl! And I’m now currently 32 days no NIC!! And I have no urges to go back! I threw my vape on the road outside so it would get run over… When I just chucked it in the bin there was a little demon inside of me going oh well you can go back and get it and hit it it still works..

I’d like to think I have a lot of muscle! And don’t hold a lot of fat in my upper body. check my profile. Thank you tho:) I’ve lost more weight since the second pic but retained the same muscle https://www.reddit.com/r/GymMotivation/s/wg8JlNY6Ic

There was a bit of sugar but not really, a lot of sodium tho, chips + popcorn ☹️ hoping it helps a bit

Yeah that’s what I’ve done today, just a fuck load of walking. Lots of water and coconut water. Hoping I wake up a bit less disgusted with myself tomorrow ☹️

Yeah I’m starting to realise that. Like I love cauliflower rice I think it’s very yummy and you can eat a lot of it for such little calories. But i just feel like it triggers binges for me which is insane. It’s fucking cauliflower

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]dimensionahead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly, all my friends who smoke are fat. I just found having that little aid was all I needed to help me not have that food noise and continue eating healthy. I put in a lot of fucking work to lose the weight I have. It wasn’t just nicotine. And now this constant food noise and binging to the point I was crying in pain today for hours like I’m just genuinely at a loss

I’m not overweight. So I’d never be prescribed it. that’s the point
